Cleaning
Washing
Wash your cutting board with a little soap and warm water. Scrubbing is more important than the amount of soap, You want to ensure you’re getting food and bacteria off the board.Lemon juice or white vinegar may be used to directly target stains or smells.
Dry
Immediately wipe with a towel and let air dry standing on its side or on a drying rack.Do Not:
- Soak board, you don’t want the board to absorb unnecessary amounts of water
- Never put into a dishwasher
- Use chemicals, some may stain or excessively dry the wood
- Dry on it’s flat face, this may cause the board to dry unevenly and could cause warping -
Maintenance

After a few washes your board may start to look dry, this when you want to use the board butter supplied with your order. This board butter is made from food safe mineral oil and bees wax.A small amount goes a long way, so dab a small about on a paper towel or rag and rub into your fully dried board. Let it sit for a few minutes and wipe off any left over residue.
